Planet Productions Poetry & Press is anything but the normal run-of-the-mill indie publisher. We are a small collection of individuals who are in one form or another indie artist ourselves. We have a wide range of specialties that we each bring to the table. We are able and willing to adapt an even wider range of services to grow and survive as a company.

As we begin our second year in the book publishing business, we were wound full speed forward, all systems go until the bat flu swept in and stormed on our parade. We launched our second poetry collection, a literary arts online magazine, five online retail locations, two clothing design entities, our music company, and began setting our eyes on merch manufacturing with our purchases of printing heat presses and screen printing stations and gear we continue our pursuit towards an internet radio station and a collection of podcast shows as well as growth towards a multi-purposed recording studio. Oh, but we still hold a few more tricks up our sleeves that we will await to reveal when the time is right.

We begin our featured chapbook run for the year with our focus on the poets that were chosen being those who are currently active or have been relevant in the past to the Indiana independent music scene, where our roots take hold the strongest.

We anticipate the near future debut of the first of our podcast series, Baptized in the Fire. And our first e-zine publication, Belladonna Literary Arts Magazine, is already set to release its first issue on/around June 1, 2020. We are going to roll it out as a quarterly publication until we get our bearings and move to more regular monthly publication, as well as growing to include Belladonna with a printed option.

As the company works out the unforeseeable obsticals and graduates into becomes more seasoned, we expect to see many ideas becoming born and many fading out. The only thing we are certain of is our pursuit to bringing a voice to those who would otherwise not get the opportunity of being heard.
